How it works

For this year's audio puzzle, the challenge contains four original tracks performed by The San Antonio Jawharp Ensemble. Each track includes deliberate musical markers that guide you to specific letters. Each track resolves to one hidden word. Combine the four words to form the final passphrase. Submit the passphrase in the "Claim" channel on Discord to secure the prize.

The first annual event begins January 2026 and repeats every year.

Prize

The first participant to post the correct passphrase in the "Claim" channel on our Discord wins $1,000. Simple payout methods are ready so your reward is fast and secure.

Clue packs

Optional clue packs will be available for purchase here on the Symphony Cypher website. The clue packs contain hints that help explain the structure and can help confirm that the solution follows a clear pattern.

After the winner

Once the winner is announced we will share the full cypher and a detailed explanation of how it was constructed inside the Discord community.

2. Download & listen to the four tracks.
3. Decode the hidden word from each track.
4. Combine the words to create the final passphrase.
5. Submit in the Claim channel and secure the prize if you are first.
